Delete Your Lumetia Account
You can delete your Lumetia account and associated data in two ways.
Option 1: In-App
- Open Lumetia and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the information about what will be deleted.
- Confirm the deletion request.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the following:
- Subject:
Account Deletion Request — Lumetia - Body: Include the Google email address associated with your Lumetia account.
We may need to verify your identity before processing the request — for example, by confirming that you have access to the email address on file.
What Gets Deleted
When your account deletion is processed, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed:
- Account profile and Google sign-in association
- Reading progress across all books
- Saved vocabulary, review history, and FSRS scheduling data
- Annotations, highlights, and notes
- Uploaded EPUB files in cloud storage
- Subscription entitlement and purchase records
What You Need to Handle Separately
Google Play subscription cancellation is your responsibility. Deleting your Lumetia account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through:
- Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lumetia → Cancel subscription.
Data That May Be Retained
We may retain minimal data where required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention — for example, a record that a specific purchase token was refunded. Such retention is limited in scope and duration to what is strictly necessary.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days of verified request receipt.

Google Play 订阅取消是您的责任。删除 Lumetia 账户不会自动取消生效中的 Google Play 订阅。为避免后续扣费，请通过以下路径取消订阅：
- Google Play 商店 → 个人资料图标 → 付款与订阅 → 订阅 → Lumetia → 取消订阅。
可能保留的数据
在法律要求或出于合法商业目的（如反欺诈）所需的范围内，我们可能保留最少量数据——例如，记录某笔购买令牌已被退款的事实。此类保留在范围和时限上严格限制于必要的最低限度。
处理时限
账户删除请求通常将在收到已验证的请求后 30 天内 处理完成。
